Addressing Low Voter Participation Rates Through a Community Survey and Engagement Program

A healthy democracy relies on a civically-engaged electorate, but voting rates across Hamilton County are critically low.

To increase voter participation rates, TDN used a community survey to start a conversation at the door. Survey results were analyzed and used to help us identify barriers to participation so we could work to build a more engaged community and come up with tactics to engage voters in upcoming local elections.
