working toward a future where every person in Hamilton County votes in every election
HAMILTON COUNTY
One Vote
Election Project
One Vote Election Project is a nonpartisan civic engagement effort highlighting the benefits of participating in local Hamilton County elections.
Did you know that elections can be won or lost by one vote? Take for instance the 2017 Virginia election, where a single vote flipped control of the Virginia House of Delegates. Or consider locally, the August 2022 Hamilton County election, where the District 11 County Commissioner won by a mere 20 votes. One individual- one vote- can make a difference.
One Vote Election Project helps voters feel prepared and motivated to show up and make that difference. Because our votes matter for our communities.
